The second half of our trip was just as fun as the first! I am so sad to be back to reality!
Tuesday we had a picnic...Carrie actually really likes picnics so it was fun to enjoy the nice weather. She had a turkey sandwich, but she liked my chicken a lot :).

We spent much more time at the pool.

Doesn't this just make you miss being a kid on vacation? Bundled up eating your snack.

I love this pic. Here are my loves!

Just having fun outside.

Thursday when we were there was St. Patrick's Day. Savannah has one of the top 5 biggest celebrations. Graham and I have done the wild River Street part a couple times, but we had not done the parade before. We wanted to go check it out so Papa drove back down to help us out because we knew we would need it! The parade was at 10:15 and we got there at 9:30 to park and get a spot to watch. People lined the whole parade and had chairs and tailgates set up and had been there since like 630am! It was madness! We found a little spot with a windowsill where Carrie could sit and settled in. Our problem was that we were 45 minutes early and our spot was nearer to the end so we didn't even have the parade start until 11:15. Keeping a 1 1/2 year old happy for an hour and a half in a small spot was not easy! She loved walking around and seeing everyone and all the crazy gear. And dada got her a souvenir green dog that she liked...

The whole group.

But the main thing that kept her still was chips! She LOVES chips and never gets to have them so this was the ultimate treat. Papa went on a search to find her a snack and this was the perfect thing. She is not into cupcakes or ice cream, but the girl loves her some chips. Sometimes I want them with my lunch and I either have to pass them up or give her one because as soon as she sees them, she says "chips!"...

When the parade started, it was neat. They had bands and bagpipe groups and dancers, but they also had a lot of past grand marshals with a lot of people walking behind them so Carrie started getting antsy after 45 minutes or so.

Watching the parade from the windowsill with dada.

She liked the little girls next to her.

Watching with Papa.

Once she had had enough, we got some lunch and walked down to River Street before it became chaotic just to check it out.
That night Graham and I got a sitter and had a date night at the club which was a perfect ending to a great trip. We had to come back Friday and we were so sad to leave! We hope to do it again next year!!
We are just glad it is in the 80s and sunny in Nashville too because it made coming back a little easier!
