Carrie loves books so much...loves for me to read them and loves to read them herself. Some we have read so many times that she pretty much can read them to herself because she has them almost memorized. I thought I was being sneaky with the video camera today and wanted to catch her reading her Dora Mermaid Kingdom book, but she caught me. Luckily, it didn't phase her and she kept going. Here is a short clip...I never want to forget this sweet voice! (and yes, she is in a princess costume as usual)
I love my sweet girl so much. When I get tired and overwhelmed, something small like this helps me put everything back in perspective. I am truly grateful to the sweet Lord for my life and my blessings.
