Carrie doesn't turn 4 until the end of September, but a friend of mine and I with September girls decided to have an August party. August is boring around here for the little ones with no camp or school so it is a good time to have an activity. And September gets busy with school back in and football season so this ended up being a good time to do it! We had it at the Dale's house (Mills is one of C's best friends) and had a Tinkerbell Bounce house and brunch food. We called it a "Brunch and Bounce." The food was so fun to plan and do! H was the first to break in to the smoothies...girl loves a smoothie!
And here is the brunch table. We had doughnut hole kabobs, chicken minis, waffles in little cups with syrup at the bottom, mini smoothies and fruit cups. The adult table (which I forgot to get a picture of) had coffee, doughnut holes and chicken minis. The kids loved having breakfast food.
We also had a table where you could make fruit loop necklaces.
"Birthday" girls.
Chow time.
Bouncing.
Here was their adorable cake. Frosted affair does such a good job!
Time to sing!
The favors were these balls, but it made for an activity of its own! A ball pit!
Queen of the ball pit.
Dad got on to jump with the girls. He pretended it was to play with C, but we know he was just dying to jump in the bounce house ;)
All the kids had a lot of fun and we were so lucky to have a pretty morning and an August that has not been nearly as hot as usual! I am glad we did the party early because for the real birthday, we are off to Disney World! A month to go!!!
