Halloween

This year was a really fun Halloween. I love that both the girls can enjoy things like this together now. We stuck with our tradition and went out to Gentry's Farm early in October. It was a great day and we had a lot of fun doing the playground maze, swinging on tire swings, riding the hay ride, playing in the grain boxes and picking out our pumpkins of course!!
We ran into friends out there which was really fun for C!

Hayes could have played with the grain/corn stuff all day.

Have to measure them each year!

Sweet friends enjoying the hay ride.

We brought Cy-Cy this year.
Loading up our choices!
Family pic before leaving.
A few weeks later, it was time to carve them! Since the girls obviously can't do that, we got them small ones to paint which they had a lot of fun with!

When Halloween came, it was supposed to storm all day :(. We had to have the school parade inside, which was actually TOTALLY fine.

Carrie was Ariel the Mermaid that morning...

And then was Ariel the human for trick or treating. We decided to put off Trick or Treating until Friday night because it was stormy. Hated that Papa left Friday so he missed that part, but Friday night was beautiful so we were glad we had waited. And not only did we still have Mimi and E in town, we also had friends come trick or treat! Lots of fun!

All ready to go! Hayes even agreed to wear her costume and was excited about it!
So ready to go.
"I weddy twick tweet."
Sweet friend Reiling arrived!
As did Daddy dressed as Prince Eric. What a sweet daddy to do that for C :) (he secretly loved it!)
And then Jet (Hulk Hogan) came!
These 3 had a blast!!! They must have gone to 30+ houses. It was so fun to watch them. They are definitely kids now! Not babies, not even toddlers...craziness. Hayes was a bit slow so Mimi and Dada took her. She made sure she got a lot of candy from each house so even though she went to less houses, she still had almost as much candy!!
They got a lot of treats!!!
It was such a fun year this year. Carrie is really at the age where she can have so much fun and Hayes really enjoyed herself too. Now it is time to get ready for a fun trip to SC for Thanksgiving!!!
