Big, LONG, late birthday post!!!

Last Saturday, September 29, was Carrie's 3rd birthday. It was SO fun that it fell on a Saturday so we were able to do all celebrations on that day. Carrie has been counting down the days until her princess party so she could not BELIEVE when birthday week actually arrived!!! We started out with a celebration at school...Carrie helped me back Strawberry Cake cookies with cream cheese icing. They were good and she was proud of her work :). She brought them to school Friday to share with her class.

That Friday at school was also football fun day where they all dress up and parade around and football players come. Thursday was the big one when the Vanderbilt players and cheerleaders came, but she doesn't go to school Thursdays so she had a smaller one Friday, but she was thrilled! She got to dress up in her cheerleader outfit, have football doughnuts AND celebrate her birthday with cookies! She also made a crown she got to wear at school which she loved, of course.

Saturday morning, all 3 of us walked into her room singing "Happy Birthday" and put her party hat on. As tradition goes, we took her to Pancake Pantry for her birthday breakfast.

As was her sissy. It was Hayes' first time there, but if you know Hayes and how much she likes to eat, she was fired up!

And we rushed home to open presents!!

Aunt Grace sent Cinderella accessories!!! It was perfect because we had gotten her the Cinderella dress and wand for her birthday to wear at her party and Grace's present had the shoes, crown, purse, necklace and earrings!!! She was super pumped.

Hayes gave her a pretend Princess digital camera and she LOVED it and carried it all day. She also got coloring books, puzzles, bath toys...

AND...

a new princess bike!!! Look at this tackiness! She was so excited.

It is harder to ride than her trike so we have been practicing.

And then it was FINALLY time for her PARTY!!! I should have a pic of the invite on here, but now I'm too lazy. But it was a Royal Princess party and all her friends were to wear their favorite princess gear. We had a royal feast! The table turned out way cute.

Lunch were princess dress sandwiches, fruit wands, cheese wands and priness fruit snacks.

Carrie with Maddie and Emalyn who she thinks are her cousins. They are the closest thing she has so we can just call them cousins. We see them all the time and love it!!

Then it was time for cake and her big surprise!!!

Cinderella was AWESOME!!! She sang to them, read to them, taught them a dance and got pictures with them. It was so cool and the girls loved it. I wanted the videos in this post, but I am having some computer issues right now so you can see the videos on the post right below this!

Sweet friends!!! I am so thankful for these little ones that Carrie has grown up with. They are all precious.

Our sweet neighbors gave her this rapunzel get up...hilarious!!! She absolutely loves it.

After the party and all the playing with presents and the naps, we actually had another birthday party to attend which was perfect because a lot of C's friends were there and she had so much fun playing. We stopped and picked up pizza on the way home and had dinner on the patio all together. The day just was so perfect and full of love and celebration and we are just thankful.
