Happiest Halloween!

Warning: this post is picture overload! Carrie just LOVED Halloween so much that we did every Halloween thing we could think of and tried to capture it all. I wish I had a video of the finale...trick or treating! But I don't so pics will have to do.

Carrie LOVED her costume so we wore it A LOT. She likes to put it on to wear around the house and it may have even been worn to do errands once. So here she is playing with her Cinderella in her princess outfit...naturally...
Learning how to say "your wish is my command" with her wand.
All ready for school in her pumpkin dress Mimi made!
There was a Halloween Parade at Scott's on Saturday afternoon for the play group kiddos. Carrie rode in on her bike like a princess in her chariot!
Loved that there was popcorn...devastated when she dropped it.
Group pic attempt...I think between all of the moms there may be 400 variations to this picture. Here are 2 of those...

Still shoveling popcorn. Learned it was a good way to keep her still for a group pic!
With crown on...
Parade.
And then it was time to carve our pumpkin! Carrie was such a good helper...
Helping dada sketch a face.

Coloring on her own small pumpkin.
Still scooping out more pulp.
Looking at baby Hayes. Papa and Steppy came in town for the weekend so the extra hands were great! Hayes loved being held a bunch and Carrie loved getting out of the house to do fun things! I loved having more breaks than usual! They were a big help!
Rocking on the bench and coloring her pumpkin. (Clearly using a pen to draw on a pumpkin was a major highlight)
Admiring dada's work.
So proud of their pumpkin!

All set up!
And then Monday night came around and it was time to trick or treat. If you can't tell, Carrie was over the top excited. It was so fun because she was so excited and into it! She especially loved having Scott and Mary come along with us!

Her and Scott waiting for Mary...very excited!

And we decided little ones should get a pic too.
Fired up!
Dad and his girls.
Mary arrived! All set to go!
Baby Patrick stopped by on our way out! He was soo cute!!
Carrie led the way on Trick or Treating. She kept telling us to hurry!
Digging in to the candy...figured it out fast.
And on to the next.
Knocking and saying trick or treat.
I laughed so hard at them the whole time we were trick or treating. They were loving it. They all got lots of candy and had a ball. They also loved all the decorations. Carrie moved fast as always and loved every minute...it may be her new favorite holiday!

Papa and Steppy stayed home with Hayes and Margot (Scott's baby sister)...I can't wait to get the cute pics they took of the 2 of them. It was hilarious. But this was the baby Hayes we found when we got home...sweet little ladybug.

Big kids checking out their loot. Carrie had a Kit Kat and loved it. We have since had to hide the candy bc it is all she can talk about or think about.
Overall, Halloween was a blast!! Love that she is now at an age where she understands and has fun on all the big occasions! Makes it so fun for us, too!
